Penelope has no formal training in art, and began painting and drawing in 2008.
Her first employment was as an Office Junior at the age of 15, with a small Art Agency in the King's Road, Chelsea, where her boss, Enzo Plazotta (who later, became a famous sculptor) trained Penelope as a Lettering Artist for comics.
In later years her work include being a Head Cook, and a variety of office work. Penelope owned a shop for 5 years, selling Antiques/vintage jewellery etc. which she retired from in 2005.
Married 3 times, widowed in 1998, she has 3 children, including Stuart Pearson Wright, the artist.
